Dr. Mousa has been in the mental health field for over 14 years. She graduated with her doctorate degree from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, USA. She has international experience working in the U.S., Kuwait, and in the UAE. She utilizes an integrative approach that focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and specializes in Exposure and Response Prevention (E/RP) for the treatment of Anxiety Spectrum Disorders.
Dr. Mousa is passionate about her work and is deeply dedicated to creating lasting change in people’s lives. She identifies as a Wounded Healer, and because she has personally gone through her own journey of healing, it’s helped her approach her practice with more empathy, compassion, and non-judgment.
One of the most important things she’s learned is that you need a trusting relationship with your therapist; she provides a warm and safe environment where you can feel encouraged to open up and express what you’re thinking and feeling.

As co-founder of Wise Mind Center, Riham brings years of experience, wisdom, and compassion. In her role as the Director of Operations, she is responsible for ensuring that Wise Mind Center remains true to our core mission of providing exceptional mental health services.
Riham has years of experience in the planning and execution of Human Development projects in partnership with international nonprofit organizations as well as the Kuwaiti government. Her expertise includes strategy, operations and project management. In addition, her personal journey of recovery and advocacy gives her a unique perspective on mental health and specifically, eating disorders.
Riham has been a pioneer in eating disorders awareness in the Middle East and has been featured in several media publications. She has spent years helping to increase education about mental health issues as well as demystifying the treatment process. She currently serves as the IAEDP International chapter co-chair for the Middle East.
Resha Erheim, is a Canadian Certified Counselor and is also licensed by the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai. Having worked in Canada, Kuwait and the UAE, she brings with her extensive multicultural experience in clinical and educational settings. Her clinical specialty is working with adults and providing individual and couples therapy. She has worked with individuals presenting with a variety of mental health conditions including mood and personality disorders and is trained in crisis intervention.
In addition to over 10 years of clinical experience, she has presented at numerous workshops, has led professional development sessions, and has contributed to various media publications. Some of the psychological topics she has written and presented on include issues related to relationships and communication skills.
Resha conducts counseling in both English and Arabic. She provides a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel empowered to make positive changes in their lives.

Imane Akhlafa, is a Dutch Certified Clinical and Health Psychologist. She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Social Work and a Master’s degree from Utrecht University in the Netherlands.
Imane works with mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, grief and loss, and maladaptive patterns of behavior. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. Her services are provided in English, Dutch, and Maghrebi-Arabic.
Imane has years of international work experience in the Netherlands, Morocco, and UAE. With her bi-cultural background and international experience, she takes a culturally sensitive approach to therapy.
Imane provides individualized treatment and views the therapeutic relationship as a working collaboration. She helps clients think critically and reflectively in order better understand themselves, achieve their goals, and develop a general feeling of well-being and empowerment. Imane always strives to provide a secure environment with mutual trust, respect and commitment.
