Meet Dr. Khadeja Mousa
Co-Founder/Clinical Director
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Mousa has been in the mental health field for over 15 years. She graduated with her doctorate degree from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, USA. She has international experience working in the U.S., Kuwait, and in the UAE. She utilizes an integrative approach that focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and specializes in Exposure Therapy for the treatment of Anxiety Spectrum Disorders.
Dr. Mousa is passionate about her work and is deeply dedicated to creating lasting change in people’s lives. She identifies as a Wounded Healer, and because she has personally gone through her own journey of healing, it’s helped her approach her practice with more empathy, compassion, and non-judgment.
One of the most important things she’s learned is that you need a trusting relationship with your therapist; she provides a warm and safe environment where you can feel encouraged to open up and express what you’re thinking and feeling.
Meet Rima Abboud, M.A.
Clinical Psychologist | Children, Adolescents & Adults
Rima Abboud, M.A. works with children, adolescents, and adults. Rima has a BA in Psychology and a MA in Clinical Psychology from the American University of Beirut (AUB).
Her work specialty includes psychoeducational assessments. She is trained in providing assessments to children and adolescents struggling with educational, cognitive, emotional, and/or social difficulties.
Rima is also trained in providing psychotherapy to address various difficulties (e.g., anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD etc.). Her therapeutic approach is holistic, client-centered, and goal-oriented. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy techniques, and provides parental management trainings. Rima speaks both Arabic and English.
Meet Maya Zaghloul, MSc.
Clinical Psychologist
Maya Zaghloul, MSc. is a licensed Psychologist. She holds a BA in Psychology from the Lebanese American University and a MSc in Clinical Psychology from Utrecht University.
Maya uses an integrative approach to therapy, which means that she tailors the therapy to the client's needs. She believes in establishing a strong therapeutic relationship by providing a non-judgmental and safe space, and a compassionate approach.
Maya has received multiple certifications in therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Imaginal Exposure (IE). She works with Trauma related disorders and other mood and personality disorders.
Maya's goal as a therapist is to raise awareness and normalize the importance of mental health and wellbeing and to remove the stigma related to psychological difficulties. She helps clients recognize and break negative patterns to help them create a better sense of stability and wellbeing. Maya speaks English, Arabic and French.

Mariam Mouris, MSc. (UK), B.Sc. (Hons), MBPsS, is a qualified and dedicated psychologist specializing in clinical psychology and mental health. With experience in the UK National Health Service (NHS) and hospitals, Mariam has assessed, diagnosed, and treated various psychological disorders impacting adolescents and adults. Her expertise includes stress management, depression, anxiety, self-harm, personality disorders, and anger. She utilizes therapeutic approaches such as client-centered therapy, CBT, mindfulness, ACT, EFFT, and DBT. Mariam's academic achievements include a high-end merit in her master's program, where she focused on affective disorders, trauma, coping with chronic illness, and psychotherapy. She is a member of the British Psychological Society and is fluent in English and Arabic.
